Love the Skin You're In

Latisse®

Long, thick, dark eyelashes accentuate your eyes and make them stand out. If your eyelashes are short, fine, or sparse, you may depend on mascara to try and achieve more dramatic lashes. If you’re looking for an alternative to mascara, we offer FDA-approved Latisse to our patients in Trinity, Port Richey, Spring Hill, Westley Chapel, and surrounding areas.

How Does Latisse Work?

When Latisse is applied to your lash line daily, it gradually thickens and lengthens your eyelashes by extending the growth phase. Latisse lashes also tend to be darker. It will take a month or two for you to see results from Latisse. You should remember that Latisse is not a permanent solution, and you will have to keep up with the treatment to maintain your results.

How Much Does Latisse Cost?

The cost for 1 month’s supply of Latisse is about $110. You also have the option of purchasing a larger-sized bottle of Latisse, which might be a better value if you plan to use it long-term. You should discuss with your provider if you are a good candidate for Latisse and if this treatment can be a long-term solution to improve your eyelashes.

Possible Side Effects When Using Latisse?

It’s important to discuss all possible side effects with your provider before you start using Latisse. Some side effects you may experience when using Latisse are irritation around the application site and, in very rare cases, pigmentation irregularities in or around the eyes. Your provider may advise you not to use Latisse if you have pre-existing conditions such as eyelid dermatitis, uveitis, or ocular hypertension.

Are You a Good Candidate for Latisse?

If you want to grow thicker, longer, darker lashes and you don’t have any eye sensitivity, you might be a good candidate for Latisse. You should be able to use this treatment continuously as long as you don’t experience any adverse effects. You should not use Latisse if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, and always contact your provider if you notice any unexpected reactions to the treatment.
